What is an anarchy Minecraft server?
An anarchy Minecraft server is a multiplayer server with no land claims, no grief rollbacks, no chat moderation, and no bans for gameplay. Players build, raid, ally, and betray one another, and no administrator undoes the outcome. The world becomes a record of what players actually did.
Plain definition
An anarchy server removes the protective layer that ordinary survival and SMP servers add. Operators leave vanilla or near-vanilla mechanics in place, skip chat moderation, do not ban players for griefing, and never restore destroyed builds. The format is tied closely to 2builders2tools, which launched in December 2010 and made no-reset Minecraft worlds widely known.
The practical effect is that risk moves from the plugin layer to the player. Hiding a base, choosing travel routes, and deciding who to trust are the real mechanics, because nothing else protects what you build.
What anarchy servers remove
Comparing feature by feature is the fastest way to see the difference between a moderated server and an anarchy one.
| Standard SMP feature | On anarchy servers |
|---|---|
| Chat moderation | None |
| Account verification | None on cracked-friendly servers |
| Land claims and world protection | None |
| Rollback after griefing | None |
| Anticheat | Usually none |
| Bans for gameplay | None |
| World resets | Rare. Many anarchy maps run for years. |
A short history of anarchy Minecraft
2builders2tools opened in 2010 under Hausemaster and became the reference point for public anarchy Minecraft; its own about page says the exact world creation date was never recorded and estimates late 2010. Constantiam had been running since early 2016 when 2b2t added its queue that June, and clones followed within weeks: 9b9t that June, 0b0t in July. Purity Vanilla opened in 2019 and 6b6t in 2022. They differ by queue, version, account rules, what is sold, and chat policy.
2 Paws 1 Job launched on January 1, 2026 with Java, Bedrock, MCPE, and cracked access on a single map, and with nothing for sale. 6b6t and 0b0t also take cracked and Bedrock clients; 2b2t has run experimental Bedrock access since December 2025. The seven servers are compared cell by cell on the 2b2t alternative page.
Why players keep choosing anarchy servers
- Old maps matter. With no rollbacks, old roads, ruins, and stashes keep their value.
- Groups make their own order. Alliances and feuds resolve without staff picking sides.
- Hiding is part of survival. Base distance, travel habits, and PvP skill replace claim plugins.
- Stories leave marks. Builds, griefs, and battles stay visible in the world for years.
2 Paws 1 Job as an anarchy server
The world has run since January 1, 2026 and has not been reset. There is no queue, no ban list,
no chat filter, and no anticheat. Java Edition, Bedrock Edition, MCPE, and cracked clients join the
same map through play.2paws1job.org on port 25565.
As of Sep 5, 2026, 10:44 AM UTC, play.2paws1job.org had 9,570 unique players on record, a 1766.42 GB world, and 100.0% uptime across the last 30 days.

Questions and answers
What is an anarchy Minecraft server?
An anarchy Minecraft server is a multiplayer server with no land claims, no grief rollbacks, no chat rules, and no bans for gameplay. Players build, raid, ally, and betray each other, and staff never undo the result. The world records what players actually did.
What are the rules on an anarchy server?
Effectively none that affect gameplay. There is no claim protection, no anticheat, no chat filter, and no ban for griefing, stealing, or killing. The only limits are the game mechanics themselves and whatever other players are willing to enforce.
What is the oldest anarchy Minecraft server?
2builders2tools, better known as 2b2t, launched in December 2010 and is widely cited as the oldest continuously running anarchy server. Its world has never been reset, which made no-reset Minecraft worlds the defining trait of the genre.
What is the difference between anarchy and survival Minecraft?
A standard survival server protects claims, bans griefers, and enforces account or chat rules. An anarchy server removes that layer, so travel distance, hidden coordinates, and player alliances carry the risk that plugins would otherwise absorb.
Are anarchy servers free to play?
Most public anarchy servers are free to enter, including 2 Paws 1 Job. You need a Minecraft client and the server address. This server has no subscription, paid rank ladder, or priority queue purchase.
Can you grief on an anarchy server?
Yes. If a base is found, it can be looted or burned, and nothing restores it. Anarchy servers do not run claim protection or rollback plugins, so a destroyed build stays destroyed in the world history.
Are hacks allowed on anarchy Minecraft servers?
2 Paws 1 Job does not run anticheat and does not restrict client-side mods. Many anarchy players use movement, combat, or rendering clients, so treat the world as hostile from spawn onward.
